Official Reboot!

This project is now officially being restarted. Over the winter I wasn't going on as many adventures and now with nicer weather, well there is more opportunities.
Okay so for the months leading up to the summer I am going to promise to work on a few uploads each week.

I took this at the circus museum in sarasota. The size of the exhibit takes on an entire building. Each with as much detail as the objects in this image.

When I saw this statue I felt that the angle he is posed at was unfitting. What you cannot see here in the photo is that massive gate and entrance to the art museum. So with the angle I took it made him seem sad, ominous, reaching out to someone lost. All that jazz. But when I first saw it it from the front, it was just someone looking triumphant.

This again was ll the angle. the statue was in the middle of a pond and with my zoom lens I was able to take various shots of this boy from various angles. Eventually this one seemed the most powerful. It shows him not just pouring the water but not being able to hold on.

  1. 1.) The colors of the first image are fantastic
2.) I loved what you said about angling a shot. When looking at a picture, most people don't first think of why the subject is at a certain angle, but it still manages to have such an instant impact.
3.) Katie W. says: "The final picture is fantastic. I keep thinking it's a real boy. Pinocchio! Ahh!"
